How puppies and preschoolers/toddlers are alike

Whether you believe it or not, animals are very similar to humans. Many consider their pets and especially dogs as part of the family and evidently, they should. To put it in perspective puppies particularly share many of the same qualities as preschoolers and toddlers. If you are thinking of having kids and want to make sure you are ready, getting a dog is a great idea as it will prepare you for it. Taking care of a dog takes a lot of patience, responsibility, and hard work; similar to having a child. But in the end, it is worth it as just like children, dogs bring a lot of joy. Puppies and toddlers share a lot of similar traits that I have picked up on and it is quite remarkable.

Both require a lot of love, attention, and care.

Just like kids, puppies require a lot of love, attention, and care. Puppies like to be held just like kids do, they like to be around people, and they love affection. Just like when a child is crying a puppy wants to be picked up, hugged and be cherished with love. Puppies are taken away from their mothers after 8 weeks so they can feel scared and miss their mother so making them feel comfortable, loved is important in order for them to feel at ease.

Both are therapeutic

Both kids and dogs bring a happy vibe that is contagious. When you see a child being silly, laughing, or happy it puts you in a better mood. Puppies have the same effect, in fact, dogs are used for therapy and can make one feel calmer and reduce stress. It goes to show that the simplest of things in life can bring joy and immediate pleasure.

Taking care of puppies and kids requires creativity

When taking care of a child and a puppy something that some people don’t know is that it requires creativity. What I mean by this is that when you need to get your puppy or child to do something that they don’t want to do it entails you to think outside of the box. In fact, you may have to be sneaky as kids and dogs can be stubborn. For example, if a child refuses to eat something you could try putting it in a sandwich. That way this proves that they actually liked the food that they claimed they didn’t like. With puppies, for example, if he or she isn’t eating a lot you can get a toy that they like and this will draw them towards the food. It works as an incentive just like when you want your puppy to sit you show them a treat and that encourages them to do what you want them to do. This is the same for kids as when they do something good you reward them. When preschoolers and puppies are getting potty trained, a common thing to do once they have gone to the bathroom is giving them a treat. Tactics like this will benefit you and your pup or child.

Lebron James and wife Savannah appear on the cover of Vogue

Both Lebron and wife Savannah are in Vogue Magazines 125th anniversary collectors issue. Why is this?

In a rare interview together, the couple spoke about how they met and the beginnings of the Lebron James Family Foundation. The foundation was set up in 2004 and aims to provide educational support for students in their hometown of Akron, Ohio. This is why many recently have grown a strong admiration for the couple.

The giving couple

Their commitment to supporting education for the kids of Akron is so inspiring. There are other reasons for calling him king James. Lebron James wanted to go to College, so doing this was very motivating for him.

They are one of many people’s favourite couples out there. Many love them even more for giving back to their hometown Akron, OH. You can tell they have a strong relationship. Lebron obviously loves his wife and thinks she is a goddess. He will do anything to make her happy. Even if she calls the shots in the relationship.

The gentle giant

Good on king James for doing this. They hoth deserve to he on Vogue. We could use a lot more people like Lebron. Many are unaware that Lebron is a good samaritan. He will compliment his opponents such as James Harden. So despite people thinking he has a big ego, Lebron should be proud of what he can bring to his kids each year.

Couple of the year

Lebron and Savannah have redefined hometown commitment with their high- impact education program in Akron.

They are doing great things with the youth of Akron. They should be proud for being role models for all to learn from. For that, many are thankful and share their kinds words on social media.

On the court we all know and recognize Lebron James is the leader of the Cleveland Cavaliers. But at home in suburban Akron, Lebron knows who’s boss. His wife, Savannah. Lebron and Savannah’s parenting style is just one of the heartwarming facts brought to our attention in this month’s Vogue.

Later this year, the couple plans to open a public elementary school specifically for at-risk children.

To conclude

The foundations goal now is to expand graduation rates among low-income students with low test scores. The program has increased in the number of students with James offering free tuition to the University of Akron to those who see it through high school.

Life Lesson 101

What is the point of surviving in this world if we don’t bring any meaning in our lives? We live to work towards something. We work to set goals and then accomplish them. We have passion and drive for particular things in our lives. But something obviously motivated us to bring us to that passion.

Life is filled with both good and bad. In order to appreciate the good or experience true happiness, we must experience failure and sadness. Perfect examples of issues that many people face are with work, relationship struggles or just a lack of self-confidence.

When these types of situations come up, it’s easy to fall into the trap of self-doubt, and negativity and feel like giving up. The result is that it feels like there is no silver lining and you feel like you are surrounded by this fogginess and lacking any stimulation or incentive to move forward.

Now it is never fun or fair to be in this situation, but for many it happens and it is a part of life. So if you find yourself stuck in this trap, an easy and creative way to help get yourself out of this black hole, is to read inspirational sayings and quotes. Words can be so powerful and uplifting. They are like little reminders that can help you move forward when you are feeling down or get stuck in negativity. Thinking negative is normal, but shouldn’t consume your mind or your thoughts.

The most important part is that the people that have written these quotes, you will respect what they have to say and what they have struggled with. It will show you that if they conquer so can you.

So to put a little kick in your day here are a couple of the best inspirational words, sayings and quotes. They’ll inspire and motivate you, help you achieve what you thought was unlikely, and enable you to tackle life’s challenges.

The best inspirational saying and quotes:

1. “If you can’t fly then run. If you can’t run then walk. If you can’t walk then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward”- Martin Luther King Jr.

2. “Life can only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards”- Soren Kierkegaard.

3. “The more real you get the more unreal the world gets.”- John Lennon

4. “My definition of stupid is wasting your opportunity to be yourself, because I think everyday has a uniqueness and everybody’s good at something.” – Pink

5. “The solution to sadness is not to look at it as a negative. The solution to sadness is understanding it. The solution to sadness is listening to it and walking it out of your heart the same way that it walked in. You can’t expect it to overtake you by walking in, and to leave by disappearing. It took steps in. It needs to take steps out.” – Najwa Zebian

Why Ed Sheeran Is The Man of The Hour

While Ed Sheeran may not be the best looking musician it doesn’t matter, as he is a talented songwriter and musician. He is far from a one hit wonder, which shows that he is going to be making music for a long time. His top hit and single “Shape of You” is still number one on iTunes and that shouldn’t be of any surprise. Ed Sheeran has without a doubt left a lasting impression on many by going from rags to riches.

He doesn’t even need a whole band to perform, just him and his acoustic, a looper pedal, a pedal board and of course his own talent. He doesn’t need background dancers or flashy lights, just himself. With this fancy equipment he is able to put on such a great show and carry such a large sound by himself. Ed Sheeran has maintained a positive image for pop music replacing the bad reputation of auto-tuned vocals.

In terms of his songwriting he write lyrics that are inspiring, original and meaningful. I’m sure many know that “A Team” is about a prostitute addicted to crack cocaine. It was written after Sheeran visited a homeless shelter and heard some of the stories of the lives people had been living. What’s different about the song is that although the lyrics are sad the music is somewhat upbeat and I think that’s an important quality to bring to a song. Just because a song is sad it doesn’t mean the beat has to follow that pattern, when it comes to music you have to take risks sometimes.

Ed Sheeran is without a doubt a talented songwriter. You know the song “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber…that’s right Ed Sheeran wrote it, so no wonder it is good. One of the many reasons Ed Sheeran is also so talented is because of his magical vocals. He is able to carry a very strong falsetto.

You know for a fact that Ed Sheeran hasn’t and never would lip-sync a live performance. In my opinion you can always tell if an artist is talented by their live performances. When the live performance is better than the recorded version then you know they have star quality.

Ed Sheeran takes his influences and likes and puts them in his music. From his autobiography “Ed Sheeran A Visual Journey” he mentions how he enjoys rap/hip-hop music and this is reflected in his music, specifically in the tune “Sing,” and “You Need Me.” Sheeran raps parts of the songs, with his fast pace singing, which shows his versatility and uniqueness that he brings in his music.

Mental Health Awareness

For someone who went through anxiety I can’t say this enough. Although I never tried to commit suicide, the thoughts were there. Many people believe that a suicide attempt is a selfish act, because the person just does not think about the people left behind. I can tell you that when a person gets to that point, they don’t do it to hurt their family. They truly believe that there is no point to their existence. This is mental illness, not egotism. The truth is; anxiety and depression is a terrible illness and seems unyielding. I have been close to that edge, and some have lost friends and loved ones. Let’s look out for each other and stop putting mental illness under the rug.

If We

If we don’t experience heartache

Then we can’t experience love

If we don’t experience love

Then we can’t experience life.

If we don’t experience life

Then we can’t experience downfalls

If we don’t experience downfalls

Then we can’t learn from our mistakes

If we don’t experience fortune

Then we can’t experience happiness

If we don’t experience happiness

Then we can’t experience melancholy

If we don’t experience melancholy

Then we can’t experience emotion

If we don’t experience emotion

Then we have no souls

What Is A Friend?

When you look at someone and see yourself in them.

Not blood related, but you would kill for them.

When your night turns to hell and you know you can count on that one person to get you through the heartache.

When you don’t have any siblings, but you can call that one person your brother or sister.

That special someone who goes out of their way for you to make sure they put a smile on your face, because a smile is priceless.

To have someone be there for you. This a luxury.

Quality is better than quantity.

One should rather have less friends who are loyal than a million who only talk to you when it benefits them.

Who needs friends? Well we all do. You just need to find the right ones.

We never make memories on our own. Friends help make memories that last a life time.

That one person who makes you laugh until you are smiling to tears.
